WHAT IS FREEMASONRY?

An ancient fraternity dedicated to friendship, morality, and brotherly love.
    WHAT DO MASONS BELIEVE?

Although Freemasonry recognizes each man is different, there are certain traits all Masons have in common:

      • Masons believe in the existence of God. No atheist can become a Mason. Masons do not care what your individual faith is; Masons include Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc.

      • Masons believe in responsibility, honor, morality, and ethics.

      • Masons believe the world should be a better place because we passed through it.

      • Masons believe a person should strive to be a good citizen and that we have a moral duty to be true to the country which we live, and uphold and maintain the principles of good government.

      • Masons see brotherhood as a form of wisdom, a sort of bond that holds men together. A private friendship that tells us we owe it to each other to be just in our dealings.

Our Charter for Harmonia was issued in 1894 to allow us to meet at the Dade County Courthouse in Juno, Florida.  In March of 1896 we received Dispensation allowing us to meet at our Clematis Street location, where Harmonia Lodge No. 138 met until August 11, 1997.  We sold our building in downtown West Palm Beach, FL and moved to our new location at 1896 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., off Interstate 95. Our new building dedication went well.  We had over 200 Masons and guests present.  The Grand Master of Masons in Florida and his Grand Lodge Officers were present to lay the Cornerstone.  After the Cornerstone Ceremony, the Grand Master held Lodge. Fun was had by all who attended.  We meet every 2nd and 4th Mondays at 7:30 PM. Fellowship and dinner at 6:30 PM. Don't forget to bring the family for family nights.
